Ikkunoiden pesua [washing the windows]

Ikkunoiden pesu ei ihan kuulu suosikkihommiini. Lisäksi haasteellisuutta lisää vanhan talon ikkunat: yläikkunoissa ei ole lainkaan saranoita vaan ne täytyy nostaa sieltä alas kokonaan, eli nykiä niitä ikkunalaudalla varpaillaan seisten... Yksin sitä ei oikein pysty tekemään, onneksi sain apua äitiltä :o)

[Washing the windows is not really one of my favourite things to do. The old windows are also challenging: the upper glasses don't have any hinge on them, so you have to take the two windows totally off. And in order to do that, I have to stand on my toes on the windowsill... It's basically impossible to do by one person but luckily I got some help from my Mom :o)]
